A Trading Business Built on Agricultural Roots
Gowhar Balkh Ltd. is based in Mazar-e-Sharif, Balkh Province, Afghanistan. We have traded agricultural commodities since 2011, and the company was established under its current identity in 2023. Potatoes were the starting point, and our range now includes onions, pomegranates and kinnow.
We handle import, export, domestic and international trade, and work with buyers, suppliers and partners across Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Pakistan.

Agricultural commodities are the foundation of our business. We trade potatoes, onions, pomegranates and kinnow in commercial volumes, packed and loaded for cross-border transport.

Service to the Homeland
The Amir Ali Sher Nawayi Minaret
In cooperation with the Municipality of Balkh Province and Bilal Group, Gowhar Balkh took part in the reconstruction of the Amir Ali Sher Nawayi minaret at the centre of Mazar-e-Sharif. The monument was completed and handed over for public use.
